Reaching far beyond the standard, we accomplish that goal via in-depth pre-tour classes and the highest quality scholar / master guide from the Land – thus enriching one's own life-changing experience!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

My first visits to Israel, in the 1970s, changed my life forever!  Having read the Bible many times through, I found a whole new frame-of-reference. But because those early tours were the typical touristy tour many questions remained.

In the early 1990s I co-hosted a short scholar-guided tour. This tour specialized in strong scholarship which also focused on the Regions and Geography of the Land - along with a clear picture of its influence on its History.  Many of my why questions were finally answered!

The incredible scholarship further confirmed my direction and long-held conclusion: word studies, exegesis, and inductive study, were all excellent and necessary study tools – but those tools often lacked three foundational basics necessary for proper biblical interpretations with life applications.

Three foundational keys are essential:

1. Geography / Topography of the Promised Land
2. Ancient Middle Eastern / Hebrew Culture
3. Ancient Middle Eastern / Hebrew History

It simply makes sense. The writers of the Scriptures made a logical assumption that the readers – who lived in the Land with that environment and culture – would know these three keys as common knowledge.

These three KEYS are absolutely foundational for clear interpretation and comprehensive understanding of the Scripture within the framework in which it was written.  

The Land is God's Visual Tool...to understanding Scripture. One needs to remember that the Hebraic / Biblical heritage can never be separateed from the Land itself!

For the last 15 years, I have dedicated myself to study, writing a large pre-tour study manual with additional visual helps, teaching, giving DTBL! Presentations, and taking people to the Bible Lands for on-site discovery of these three foundational keys. 

There is a real sense of ahhhh... and awe when those keys unlock large passages of Scripture.  Suddenly, it makes sense!  The practical, everyday applications sweep over one's inner being - and faces light up with joy!

God gave us truth – and often illustrated it with simple visuals with terms that were common knowledge at the time.  He wanted everyone to know what He was saying... and for all to intimately know HIM!
